EFR and First Aid Training Courses in Colchester Essex

EFR COURSES IN COLCHESTER ESSEX EFR COURSES

Our Instructors are also qualified to teach First Aid at Work (FAW) and Emergency First Responder courses so start your First Aid Training with Essex Scuba Diving.

Why learn Emergency First Response is it the same as First Aid Courses?

Yes. Emergency First Response gives you the tools you need to perform CPR and First Aid primary and secondary care. Whether you're a diver or a non-diver, being an Emergency First Responder prepares you to professionally handle potentially life-threatening situations and to create the confidence to care. As an EFR you will be responsible for maintaining a first aid kit so it becomes second nature and having the confidence to act when it matters.

What do I need to start the EFR Course?

• No dive certification required
• No minimum age limit

What will I do?

This comprehensive program is composed of two core modules that can be taught together or as stand-alone courses: Emergency First Response - Primary Care and Emergency First Response - Secondary Care. Together, these courses provide extensive instruction in CPR and First Aid, as well as providing optional (yet recommended) Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and Emergency Oxygen sections. The CPR course is a recommended skill to have for everyone.

How long will it take to complete the EFR First Aid Courses?

Depending on the amount of home study, the Primary and Secondary courses maybe completed in as little as four hours.

What will I need to complete the course at Essex Scuba Diving?

Participant Pack, which includes manual and first aid pack. Essex Scuba Diving will provide these for you as part of your course

Where can I go from here once I am a Emergency First Responder have my CPR certification?

This course satisfies your PADI Rescue Diver CPR certification prerequisite if you are interested in starting a PADI Rescue Diver Course course. As a EFR provider you will have the confidence and training to ensure you can help when the time comes.
