The PADI Adventures in Diving program offers you both the Adventure Diver certification and dive credits towards the Advanced Open Water Diver Course certification. If you complete any three adventure dives, you get your PADI Adventure Diver certification. If you complete your Deep and Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive and three additional Adventure Dives for a total of five, you can earn your Advanced Open Water Diver certification in Colchester Essex.

What do I need to start the PADI Adventure Diver SCUBA course?
At the start of this course you must be a PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver (or hold a qualifying certification from another organization). Our PADI Instructors will be more than happy to help you if you have a course query. The minimum age is 15 years old (10 years for PADI Junior Adventure Diver). You will find our Instructor led lesson plans are a great aid in helping you understand dive theory and knowledge.
What exactly will I do to complete this SCUBA Course?
Your PADI Adventure Diver certification course here at Essex Scuba Diving includes three of the following Adventure Dives, it's your choice so feel free to pick away:
AWARE-Fish Identification, Underwater Naturalist, Underwater Navigator, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Underwater Photography, Multilevel Diving, Deep Diving, DPV (Diver Propulsion Vehicle), Search and Recovery, Underwater Videography, Dry Suit Diving, Wreck Diving, all lessons and courses in Essex.
How long will this course take, will it take long to complete?
The recommened time for the PADI Adventure Diving course here at Essex Scuba Diving is 9 hours, while the PADI open water training can be done in 1 day. The maximum amount of allowed training dives in one day is 3. We conduct our dives here in the UK at local dive sites. Furthermore we can enhance the dive experience by learning during our Pool Sessions.
What will I need to begin my Adventure in Diving course with Essex Scuba Diving?
The Adventures in Diving Crew-Pak (which is included in your course cost). An Adventures in Diving Video or DVD (returnable refund of £20 required). This is an excellent way of learning as the interactive DVD runs through the course requirement and training scenarios. A Log Book (your open water logbook will be more than adequate)
Where can I go from here once I am have my PADI Certification?
After your PADI Adventure Diver certification you can take the next step by completing two more adventure dives. If you've completed a total of five adventure dives that include Deep and Navigation, you're a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver which we are sure you will be very happy with!
PADI Adventure Dives can also count towards PADI Specialty Diver certifications. If you liked your Wreck Adventure Dive so much that you wanted to take a complete PADI Wreck Diver Specialty course, your Wreck Adventure Dive can count as the first dive of that specialty!
